Apple has confirmed that iOS 27 will be available from September 14, bringing one of the biggest Siri changes in years alongside broader Apple Intelligence updates and a range of everyday iPhone improvements.
The headline feature is Siri AI. Apple says the new assistant is designed to understand personal context, recognise what is happening on screen, answer broader questions and work more naturally across apps. Apple’s current India software page says Siri AI is rolling out in English, while availability can vary by device, language and region.
When will iOS 27 be released?
Apple’s India website lists September 14 as the public release date for iOS 27. The update will be available through Settings > General > Software Update on compatible iPhones.

What changes with Siri AI?
